What is Economy Shipping?

Economy shipping is a budget-friendly combination of UPS and USPS services.

Economy shipping is available in all 50 US States and US Territories. Packages shipped using economy shipping are delivered by UPS to the USPS facility closest to your address. USPS will then deliver the package to a residential address.

Economy shipping offers a low-cost way of shipping your packages. The delivery expectation is up to 2 days longer than UPS Ground. Delivery is available on Saturday via USPS.  Economy shipping does not offer a guaranteed delivery date.

Why don't I see the Economy Shipping option?

Economy shipping can only be used for residential addresses.  UPS does not offer economy shipping to addresses classified as a business address.  Additionally, the product or quantity that you have selected may be too large to be shipped via economy shipping.

Which products qualify for Economy Shipping?

Economy shipping is available for single package products that meet specific weight and dimension requirements.  Smaller products such as business cards, hang tags, and some postcards in smaller quantities will qualify for economy shipping.

You can track the UPS leg of your package at ups.com and the final delivery leg made by USPS at usps.com.

The package will start with UPS.  Once it has been transferred to the post office for local delivery, you will see this status message:

Once your package has been delivered to a USPS facility, the USPS tracking information will become available at the bottom of the tracking page.
