Direct Mail for Nonprofit Organizations

Written by Jen

If your organization already has a nonprofit account with USPS, you can receive a Nonprofit Postage rate on your Primoprint Direct Mail Order.

To qualify for the Nonprofit Postage rate, you must:

  • Include the name and address of your nonprofit organization as the return address in the artwork for your mailpiece. This name and address must match the name and address on your 3623 Form.

  • Provide us with your CRID number. This number is issued by USPS and is different from your EIN or any other number issued by the IRS. If you do not know your CRID number, please contact the post office that assigned your nonprofit status.

Can nonprofits use their own mailing permit with Primoprint? No. Each organization must provide us with their USPS documentation. We use this information to verify your nonprofit mailing status and ensure you qualify for the nonprofit postage rate, but we will use our nonprofit indicia for your mailing.
